Abakan is the capital of the Khakass Republic. Its population is about 170 thousand people. City’s history began at the first half of the 19th century. Initially the native Khakass people used the area of the present-day city as a seasonal settlement. This people based near to nomads' camps with cattle at the point of a ford of the Yenisey and the Abakan rivers. From the outset of the 19th century few Russian families established residence in this area. Little by little the mode of their life became settled and the village of Ust-Abakanskoye was built here. On January 20, 1931 this village became the city of Abakan.
The city is located in the central part of Minusinsk Hollow at the confluence of the Yenisey and the Abakan rivers. Abakan is the major transport junction in the south part of Central Siberia. Abakan is connected by rail with Krasnoyarsk in the north, Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk in the west, Tayshet in the south-east (the BAM railway).
Abakan has its own landing stage on the bank of the Yenisey River. This is the beginning of the Krasnoyarsk Basin.
Abakan is connected by road with the Republic of Tuva (Usin highway), with Krasnoyarsk and Sayanogorsk.

Historical dates:

In 1822 the village Ust-Abakanskoye became the administrative center of Achinsk steppe council.

In 1911 the beginning of Achinsk - Abakan railroad-building lead to the appearance of railway station and village near to this station. This factor determined future creation of a city.

In 1925 the village Ust-Abakanskoye became the administrative center of the Khakas Region; the railway started to work and the station Abakan was opened.

In 1945 the regional national high school for Khakas children (National Katanov high school) was opened.

In 1976 the Abakan carriage-building factory (Abakanvagonmash) put on the market the first container car.

In 1998 the Abakan repair and engineering works factory (RMZ) put on the market the first lot of vehicles “Gazel”.

The main principle of our work is quality and reliability of cargo forwarding.
