The birth of the city of Novorossiysk became possible as a result of the victory of Russia over Turkey in the War of 1828-1829. The date of the foundation of Novorossiysk is September 12, 1838.
On this day vice-admiral M.P.Lazarev and general-lieutenant N.N.Raevskiy landed on the place of the future city, founded the military fortification and confirmed the might of the Russian power.
10 years passed and the fortress became the city.

The beginning of the industrial oil production on Kuban gave a powerful pulse to the development of all region.
Young Russian capitalism appeared here as joint-stock company of the Vladikavkazskaya railway, which built a new branch line Ekaterinodar - Novorossiysk, as well as the first moorings and constructions in the port.
An important event took place in Novorossiysk at the end of 19th century when marl, raw material used in the production of cement, was found in the Markotkhskie Mountains, stretching along north-eastern coast of the Tsemesskaya bay.
Its reserves appeared huge, the quality was rare. In December, 1882 the first cement works of the Chernomorskiy cement manufacture (nowadays cement works "Proletariy") started to work. Eight factories operated in area of Novorossiysk till 1917.
In 1894 the largest elevator in Russia was put in operation. Its appearance was contributed by the construction of the railway from Åkaterinodar up to Novorossiysk. Along with the elevator a high-capacity power station was built. In 1896 Novorossiysk received the status of the center of the Black Sea province.

The 1920s were time of revival of the Novorossiysk’s industry: manufacture of cement was restored, new factories were built, the small fleet was under repair and the big fleet developed, a car-repair and a ship-repair factories were built on the basis of low-power workshops.

For the period of its existence Novorossiysk collapsed three times. After the Great Patriotic War the city was almost completely destroyed. It was built up anew only by the middle of the 1960s. Novorossiysk rose from the ashes, new houses and moorings, streets and districts were built, new gardens were grown. The city has opened its sea gate to the world and at the beginning of III millennium it has become the main port of Russia on the Black sea and the center of international collaboration.

Historical dates:

In 1838 on the western coast of the Sudzhukskaya bay (the present-day Tsemesskaya bay) a military fortification was built. From 1839 the fortification is called Novorossiysk, this means a "city in Novorossia".
In 1845 a port was built in Novorossiysk and on December 15, 1846 Novorossiysk was declared city.
In 1879 the richest deposits of marl was found near Novorossiysk. In 1882 the Black Sea Society "Portlandtsement" built a cement works, the first in Novorossiysk.
In 1894 the largest elevator in Russia was put in operation.
In 1918, during the civil war, by the order of V.I.Lenin on June 18 some ships of Russian Black Sea fleet (1 battleships, 10 torpedo-boats and other ships) were sunk in the Tsemesskaya bay.

On the night of February 4, 1943 a troop of Soviet seamen made a beach landing near the settlement of Stanichka south of Novorossiysk. The landing seized the jumping-off ground (later called "the Small Earth") and held it for 225 days.

The main principle of our work is quality and reliability of cargo forwarding.
