Khabarovsk is the centre of the Khabarovsk Region, one of the most ancient cities of the Amur region. Khabarovsk was founded on May 31, 1858 as a military post. Later it was rebuilt according to the old rules of town planning on a high bank with a view on a wide river. It was settled by craftsmen, merchants and militaries. It achieved city status on October 30, 1880.

Before the Revolution of 1917 the life and development of Khabarovsk was determined by its status of the capital city of the Province. Numerous buildings for administrative and public institutions were built here. Under the Soviet power the city was growing rapidly. Since the middle of 1920s till the middle of 1980s it became ten times bigger. Large industrial enterprises and scientific research institutes constitute a powerful industrial and scientific potential of Khabarovsk.

Nowadays Khabarovsk is a large industrial, transport, cultural and scientific centre of the Far East. There are 100 enterprises of machinery, metalworking, building, food-processing and light industries, etc.

Khabarovsk is the largest railroad junction of the Far East. There are four railway terminals, three rail depots and a big distribution station Khabarovsk II in the city. The Amur inland navigation company provides passenger and tourist runs departing from Khabarovsk along the Amir River from Blagoveschensk to Nikilayevsk-on-Amur, as well as along the Sungary River into the territory of China. The cargo port accepts river-ocean motor ships making voyages to the ports of the South-East Asia.

Historical dates:

In 1858 the Khabarovsk military post was founded.

In 1872 a river port was built in Khabarovsk.

In 1880 Khabarovsk gained city status.

In 1897 Khabarovsk was connected to Vladivostok by railway.

In 1902 a military plant ‘Arcenal’ (nowadays ‘Daldiesel’) was founded.

In 1916 a railway bridge across the Amur River connected Khabarovsk to Eastern Siberia by railway.

In 1926 Khabarovsk was declared the centre of the Far East region. Since 1938 it is the centre of the Khabarovsk territory.

The main principle of our work is quality and reliability of cargo forwarding.
